The new SEBO SOFTCASE CE12 upright vacuum cleaner is primarily a mechanical vacuum with electrical components found only in the power head. There are no electrical components in the bag housing or handle, minimizing electrical connectors and further improving reliability.
The impeller rotates at an impressive 17,000 rpm, creating a powerful suction to pull the dirt in that is picked up by the rotating brush. It moves an astonishing 27 litres of air per second while maintaining a relatively low power rating of 400 watts!
A 17,000 rpm impeller is driven by a toothed belt. A separate toothed belt drives the brush at approximately 3,000 rpm. This system makes the most efficient use of the motor power for powerful suction and brush action.
The soft-start feature gradually power-ups the vacuum and extends motor life. In case of a blockage or overload the unit automatically shuts off, avoiding damage to the motor and items inadvertently left on the floor or hidden under beds.
Quick Brush Roller Removal
SEBO brush rollers are uniquely designed to funnel hair and debris into the airflow channel. The brush roller can be quickly and easily removed without tools, for replacement, or to remove tangled hairs and fibers.
The on/off button on the side and the quick-release foot pedal on the back minimizes the need to bend over while vacuuming. This also maximizes durability by relieving excessive stress or force on the handle and bag housing when it’s in the upright, locked position. Quality ABS plastic and metal parts are standard.
Designed for All Floor Surfaces
The power head features a four-level manual height adjustment to move the brush roller up or down for optimal cleaning effectiveness. The brush roller also raises off the floor when the handle is in the upright locked position.
