Replace the SEBO MECHANICAL 350 brush strip – hard bristles – by pressing the button on the powerhead to release the end cap, and pulling the strip out and off of the brush roller. We suggest using a pair of pliers to grab the brush strip or push the brush strip up from further down. Then carefully push the new brush strip onto the brush roller and it will wrap back around the roller. This innovative and cost-effective design means not having to replace the entire brush roller every time, and instead only requires the brush strip to be replaced as needed. We suggest replacing the brush strip once the bristles start to look like a worn toothbrush.
There are three types of MECHANICAL 350 brush strips – soft, regular, and hard. The soft bristles are designed for more delicate carpets, such as Berber or shag carpets, as well as all hard floors. The regular bristles are designed for most low and medium-pile carpets, as well as all hard floors. The hard bristles are designed for very low-pile carpets, and carpet tiles typically used in commercial settings, as well as all hard floors.
