Have you noticed we carry a variety of different SEBO vacuum attachments and accessories and wondered what they each do? We’ve put together a comprehensive blog post outlining each of their unique features and highlighted ways they can benefit you! Read on for more.
Most SEBO vacuums come with three standard on-board tools: the crevice tool, the upholstery tool, and the dusting brush. The exceptions are the Felix, which does not include a dusting brush, and the SEBO Dart, which does not include an upholstery tool. While they may vary in size or shape for each SEBO vacuum, they ultimately serve the same purpose. The main reason for the different shapes and sizes is because each tool gets stored inside or on the vacuum. As such, they must be shaped to work with the design of the vacuum. For example, these tools are stored internally on the back of the E-series vacuum (pictured).
What are the on-board tools used for?
These accessories can also be purchased separately on our website to replace old ones that either get lost or become worn out over time. We also carry an extra-large dusting brush, which is compatible with all SEBO vacuums, for those who would prefer a larger cleaning area.
The SEBO Premium Parquet Floor Brush is the perfect choice for your hard floor needs! It comes included with the D4 Premium, K3 Premium, and the Felix 1 Premium. It is one of the most popular floor tools for many SEBO customers
The Premium Parquet Floor Brush is suitable for wood, tile, laminated floor, and more! The tilt-and-turn ‘flex’ neck design provides superb maneuverability. Its natural bristles and soft wheels make it ideal for any type of hard floor, delicate or otherwise. One straight and one crescent-shaped brush strip guide the suction current. The floating spring-mounted brush strips are also effective for uneven flooring.
Designed to be versatile, the brush strips can be easily removed to accommodate different cleaning needs. For example, many customers with shedding pets prefer to remove the front brush strip. This prevents pet hair from getting caught in the bristles.
With its button-release neck, the SEBO Premium Parquet floor brush is compatible with all SEBO canister vacuums. It is also compatible with the SEBO Felix and Dart series upright vacuums. Alternatively, it can be paired with SEBO wands for use with a central vacuum.
Designed specifically for hard floors, this standard parquet floor brush is a classic design. It is lightweight with soft, natural bristles so it glides gently over floors and provides easy maneuverability. It is great for use on wood, tile, and many other hard floor surfaces. A node is included on the back for attaching and storing directly on your SEBO canister vacuum.
To clean this Parquet floor brush, simply pull fibers and hair out of the bristles manually. Alternatively, you can vacuum the bristles with your vacuum hose end or telescopic tube.
Since the SEBO Parquet Brush has a button-release neck, it is compatible with all SEBO canister vacuums. You will even find it included with the SEBO E3 Premium, E2 Turbo, and K2 Turbo vacuums. It can also be paired with SEBO wands for use with a central vacuum.
Similar in design to the 6391DA, this Parquet brush has a friction-fit neck rather than a button-release neck. This means it can be attached to the end of an instant-use wand by just using friction. As such, it is not compatible with the SEBO canister vacuum wands. Instead, it is designed for use with the SEBO X-series, the G-series, and the Mechanical series upright vacuums. It is made with horsehair bristles and is safe for use on all wood, tile, and other types of hard floors.
The SEBO Kombi Nozzle is an easy to manoeuvre, non-powered and high-performance vacuum attachment. It is designed with a swivel ‘flex’ neck and four rubber coated wheels which help it glide easily. The 90° vertical and 180° horizontal variable-turning swivel neck offers enormous flexibility. It also has natural bristles and two lint removers to pick up thread and fluff. The innovative Twin-Stream suction channel system and the crescent-shaped natural bristle strip provide effective edge-to-edge dust collection.
The retractable bristles are the unique feature that sets the Kombi Nozzle apart from all the other SEBO floor tools. This feature allows this floor tool to clean a “combination” of hard floors and low-pile carpets and rugs. It is also suitable for wool loop pile! All you need to do is switch the slider depending on which floor type you are cleaning.
The SEBO Kombi Nozzle is another popular floor tool among SEBO customers. It comes included with the SEBO Airbelt D1 Kombi, the Airbelt E1 Kombi, and the Airbelt K2 Kombi. With its button-release neck, it is compatible with all SEBO canister vacuums and the SEBO Felix and Dart series upright vacuums. It can also be paired with SEBO wands for use with a central vacuum.
This optional cleaning head features a toggle button that raises and lowers a bristle skirt, making it useful for both carpet and hard floor cleaning. The lowered bristles are designed for hard floor cleaning. They draw dust and debris into the suction channel by gently sweeping the floor. The bristle skirt can be raised to allow the head to glide over carpet. This floor tool also features a stainless-steel base plate and two small lint removers to pick up stray thread and fluff.
With its button-release neck, the SEBO Combination Nozzle is compatible with all SEBO canister vacuums. It can also be used with the SEBO Felix and Dart upright vacuums, and can be combined with SEBO wands for use with central vacuums.
The SEBO TT-C Turbo Head is an excellent addition to the SEBO canister and Felix vacuums. It has a powerful but gentle air-driven rotating brush – meaning the brush roller automatically rotates when air is drawn into it – making it the closest alternative to our ET-1 power heads. Because it has a spring-loaded brush roll, it can be used on carpets with a thicker pile than most other hard floor tools are capable of cleaning. It is best suited for low to medium cut or loop pile carpets, area rugs, and all smooth hard floors. Simply transition from carpet or rugs to hard floors and back without ever changing the attachment.
For delicate flooring that requires a lower suction level, the airflow can be adjusted by sliding the front vent open or closed. The TT-C Turbo Head is lightweight and glides smoothly across the floor on its four rubber wheels. The bristles are arranged in a spiral pattern on the rotating brush roller to remove dirt, pet hair, lint, and threads quickly and effortlessly. Lastly, the internal air-driven turbine can be easily accessed for cleaning through a removeable door on the bottom.
With its button-release neck, the SEBO TT-C Turbo Head is compatible with all SEBO canister vacuums, as well as the Felix and Dart upright vacuums. It can also be combined with SEBO wands for use with central vacuums. It comes included with the SEBO Airbelt D1 Kombi, Airbelt E2 Turbo, and the Airbelt K2 Turbo.
The SEBO Hand-Held Turbo Brush may look like a small floor brush, but it is actually designed for cleaning upholstery, furniture, mattresses, and stairs – especially the front-side of stairs, which can be awkward to vacuum. Its swivel neck design makes it super easy to clean tight spaces because of the way it can rotate around.
The brush roller spins at a high speed due to air being drawn in. This makes it a powerful and effective tool for removing stubborn lint and pet hair. It pops open for easy access to remove any clogs – perfectly designed for pet owners with excessive shedders.
It has a friction-fit neck which means it can attach to a wand or straight to the hose handle for a more controlled, hand-held clean!
The SEBO Hand-Held Turbo Brush is included with the SEBO X7 Premium Pet upright vacuum. It is compatible with all SEBO vacuums.
The friction-fit SEBO Wall and Floor Brush is a general-purpose head designed for all SEBO vacuums. It is particularly useful for hard floors which are either too rough or too delicate for a rotating brush. It is also useful for vacuuming textile wallpaper and curtains. Small and lightweight, it is a star at quick dusting of rough or textured walls and ceilings, such as stone or bricks.
The SEBO Turn and Clean Parquet Brush features a patented universal joint with a 180° swivel and 90° pivot movement. This allows the neck on this floor tool to twist and turn, helping you reach all kinds of hard-to-clean areas. It also has a low-profile, so it fits easily under furniture.
Made with natural bristles, the SEBO Turn and Clean Parquet Brush is safe on all hard floor surfaces, even the most delicate wood, stone and ceramic. With a 13-inch working width, it is our widest floor brush making it ideal for cleaning larger surface areas.
Since it has a button-release neck, the SEBO Turn and Clean Parquet Brush is designed for use with all SEBO canister vacuums. Alternatively, it can also be combined with SEBO wands for use with central vacuums. Lastly, it can be attached to the base of the SEBO Felix and Dart vacuums. However, these upright models may limit the range of movement this parquet brush can achieve.
If you’ve ever wished for a longer crevice tool to reach up high, then this 24-inch crevice tool is for you! With its narrow, long, and flexible design, it is perfect for cleaning hard-to-reach areas. For example, areas like down the side of the fridge or under the oven. This amazing crevice tool is compatible with all SEBO vacuums and SEBO central vacuum kit wands.
The SEBO Radiator Brush is used for – you guessed it – vacuuming radiators. It fits onto the end of a crevice tool for vacuuming in narrow spaces. The stiffer bristles release dust which gets drawn into the suction stream. The SEBO Radiator Brush can be used with all SEBO vacuums and central vacuum kits using a crevice tool.
The 22-inch SEBO Extension Wand and the 9-foot SEBO Extension Hose are compatible with all SEBO upright vacuums but are particularly useful for the X-series, the G-series and the Mechanical-series models. This is because they can make vacuuming with a floor tool more comfortable with these models. A friction-fit floor tool can be attached to the included instant-use wand. However, by also using the optional extension hose and extension wand, you can increase the hose length to 15 feet and vacuum at a comfortable standing position. This makes it much easier to clean large areas of hard floors with a floor tool attachment. Fortunately, this also means not having to push the vacuum around as much!
Additionally, the extension wand and extension hose can be used with all SEBO upright vacuums to clean hard floor stairs more easily. Using a floor tool attachment with the extension hose and extension wand achieves a longer reach to vacuum each step without having to carry the full vacuum along.
Lastly, the extension wand can also be very helpful for dusting high areas like blinds or ceiling cobwebs.
The SEBO Extension Wand and SEBO Extension Hose can be purchased separately on the SEBO Canada website. Alternatively, they can be purchased together in three-piece kits with either the 1359GS Friction-Fit Parquet Brush for the X, G and Mechanical vacuums, with a dusting brush for the SEBO Felix, or with an upholstery tool for the SEBO Dart. The Extension Hose is also included with the SEBO X7 Premium Pet upright vacuum.
Now that you are aware of the features for all the SEBO vacuum attachments and accessories, you can make an informed decision when considering a new cleaning tool for your vacuum. We have outlined some great ways to use these tools, but there are still so many unique ways that our customers discover. For example, the crevice tool has been found to be very effective at cleaning inside clothes dryer lint trap doors!
From cleaning hard-to-reach areas, to saving you from bending and putting strain on your back, the right vacuum tool can make all the difference for your home and your cleaning experience.
